I think it depends on you as a person...

What sort of holiday will you be having- are you the sort of person who would mind being on hols and not drinking, or doing the 'adventurous things' menitoned by previous posters, or would you be happy in the thought you have a LO on the way? I think the factor of morning sickness may be one, but it may not be... I think also, a previous poster mentioned it may make you more relaxed and therefore it may help with the TTC... Perhaps you won't fall straight away...

In short- there are pros and cons for each. I'm sure whichever decision you make will be the right one for you. If you decide to wait, it won't mean postponing by too much. Perhaps NTNP (I can't remember where you are with contraception) before the hol, then go for it (TTC) leading up to your hol (obviously depending on where you are in your cycle)...

Personally I would be more worried about having morning sickness! But I'm sure it would still be fine. I say keep the holidays!

Well i sound truely terrible now after reading all these threads , Last year (about May time ) i was completely happy with my 3 lovely children and hadnt any inckling that #4 would ever be an option ( dh had always been so off the idea ) , so we booked a once in a life time holiday to Florida in Aug which the kids are so excited about and even counting down the weeks ( apparently its now 23 weeks ) Then my baby ( now nearly 5 ) started school in sept and the clock really started ticking , so much so that i had to have the i want another baby and i want one now ....please !! conversation and to my amazement he agreed straight away , we decided that we would wttc untill we came home but then i brought this slightly forward to ttc just before we went away , which has some how now turned into a ntnp kind of thing every month !!! (i know it seems really selfish and prob really daft , but i cant help my feelings ) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
