Explaining broodiness to your OH?

is it just me that cant find the right words to explain the pain and hurt broodiness can cause? i just cant explain to him how hard it feels to have to wait and how upsetting it is to see other people having babies any ideas on finding the right way of putting it? x

I have tried so many ways to explain 2 my oh. My main problem is that he just doesn't want 2 hear it. He just tells me to get over it cause it's not happening 4 a long time. I really feel 4 u. Ur oh sounds as difficult as mine is. Hope you manage to get through 2 him. X

Before we had Ellie, broodiness used to be a physical heartache for me. DH sort of understood.

Now I have Ellie and am broody for another, it's not the same, it's more a longing for that tiny baby again and seeing them develop as we have Ellie.

Hope your DH understands soon x

I haven't even tried to explain it to DH. I got him to agree to a TTC date a few months ago, he doesn't like it when I bring it up again.

i have this exact problem with my OH...he just doesnt get it at all, he doesnt understand why i get upset and frustrated that we are waiting for ages and ive tried (and failed) so many times but cannot find the words to explain how i feel.

i think broodiness is one of those emotions which in inexplainable and unfortunately us girls feel it a lot more than men do xx

I'm lucky, my OH is broodier than I am, which is saying a lot because I ache, physically ache, because I want to be a mum. I've wanted to be a mum for as long as I can remember and the idea that I couldn't was just beyond words, becoming a mum is one of the most natural things on this earth and the idea that I couldn't hurt.
