Good to hear different people's views And interesting to here there are the odd one or two who do have 2 homes!

We wouldn't be moving our baby between our two houses though as my house is really where we spend most of our time and I am very settled here.

Hopefully within 5 years we will be living together! Fingers crossed I just don't think I could wait that long for a little one... hehe

I think as long as you set out your 'terms and conditions' (I know that souns awful, but I dont know how to phrase it differently) then you should be fine. I agree, 5 years is a long time, I dont think I would be able to wait either.

I think it really depends on the dynamics of the situation. If your partner and you are not living together because of issue(s) with his family, a baby could exacerbate the issue(s) depending on what they are. Furthermore, how will you handle nighttime parenting? How will you handle the day-to-day with children?

I don't think it shouldn't be done or can't be done. However, I think there are a lot of factors to discuss before moving forward. Oh, and I'm definitely not someone that thinks you should or need to be married; I just think living apart can cause added stress.
