Ooooooh, yes please Odd_socks!! I was wondering recently about starting to knit some blankets. I take ages to knit things- I've been knitting a long cardigan for about a year and a half now (though didn't knit at all over last summer, and haven't had it out for a good few months). I think if I were knitting baby things it'd be faster, and would be so cool to see it all come together. I've so many ideas of things I want to make my LO... I've been making for pressies for friends nappy holders which have been going down really well-they hang on the door of the nursery and you just stack your nappies in it and it makes them really handy and easy to get to. Plus a bit different to the usual gifts you get when you ahve a LO. My sister's the big knitter and she's always knitting little outfits for her friends LO's- can't wait for her to make stuff for me I've a lovely sewing pattern for a towelling wrap with hood too- but that's just a really simple design to do... x

oooooh, I LOVE these- thank you so much sweetie! I particularly like the felt booties- esp as they're sewing- will take me 5 mins rather than 5 months to make LOL! But I really can't wait to get knitting on a baby blanket too- think I'll get one done fairly quick...can't wait...might need to go material/wool shopping tomorrow x

ta for the bib one too- won't let me thank you for some reason...

Saw a picture from a FB friend the other day of some little plain white baby grows she'd embroidered to make them exciting- gonna give them a go too- look v cute, but want to have a play as I'm not sure the stitching would be comfortable against the baby's skin.

x
