Mirena Coil and Pregnancy symptoms

Not sure where the best place to post this is so I thought I'd put it in here.

After having my son I got the Mirena coil put in and next month it will have been in a year. Its been ok, though I have still been having periods like every 6 - 8 weeks ish, though not very regular at all. Recently in the last 3 or 4 weeks I have been feeling nauseated and crampy, I keep thinking its like pregnancy, but I have had a period 2 weeks back and I had the nausea and cramping before then too. I thought it was just the build up to AF but its still here. Has anyone else had this while on the Mirena? I haven't done a preg test cause I don't think I am

Also, I can't feel the strings/threads of the coil, I know they can soften and my OH thinks he could feel them but I can't. xx

Thanks

I just did a first repsonse and its neg, though there is this strange very thin tiny clear line where a positive would go, but you can only see it if you tilt the test. Not sure what that is though? x

i've had my coil a year and yes they say the threads do soften but not to the point that you can't feel them. I'd get it checked that your coil is still in place if your partner can't feel them also. My OH can always feel my threads when we DTD more so sometimes than others. So i would definatly get that checked out if i were you x
