Yes, that site makes a good point. Some people have ovulation bleeding. I've read more than one woman talking about it over on the TTC forums. Keep us updated and just keep breathing!

I had all that and really painful boobs, nausea, 2 dys of red light spotting and every other pg symptom under the sun back in Jan- how I found myself on here!! It was SOOOOO stressful not knowing if I could be or not...I am on BCP so was unlikely, but I really felt it! I also don't get my periods so didn't know when to test so went crazy testing!! And did for about a month- forget 2ww- was 4ww for me!! All BFN so realised it must have been the BCP. I know you've reasons to wonder you might be, but I do know how horrid it feels just waiting and not knowing...x

Hon, i doubt your OH would be mad if you had a bit of spotting & you're just trying to understand what it is....... as soon as you get some answers, i'm sure you'll discuss it with him. You don't know if you're pregnant or not, so you're certainly not keeping anything from him! And yes, it's too early to test & get an accurate answer. So there is no way of knowing. Also, if you are having sex & "had an accident" your OH knows there is always a chance of pregnancy. Unless he is very controlling and/or very mean... i don't think you have anything to worry about.

How long are your usual cycles? DTD at CD8 seems too early to conceive, and CD 14 seems too early for implantation bleeding. Based on a typical 28 day cycle... you would be ovulating around now, or at least currently be in your fertile period. You can generally tell when you're ovulating bc there is alot more cervical mucus/discharge.
I would have to agree with you, Ruby. I would say having unprotected sex on CD7 with 28-34 day cycles isn't risky at all. I'd even be confident in saying that there's less than a 1% chance that the bleed you had was implantation spotting. Maybe just a bit of spotting left over from your previous AF? I know sometimes I get just a bit of dark spotting on CD 10ish that I've determined is just AF's last hurrah.

I would relax if I were you... I know you said your OH would be really unhappy if you get preggers now, but you can't really know what his reaction will be for sure. And who knows? Maybe this little "scare" is just what he needs to push him in the direction of TTC.

I'm with the other ladies. It is very minimal that you have had your accident around ovulation. I'd use this as a way of encouraging him to express his feelings on the matter. (He doesn't need to know you're most likely in the clear, although stranger things have happened!) Play this to your advantage and demand the truth.

I hope it helps hun xx

I've had two pregnancy scares in the last year and boy do they really mess with your head!
With the first I had midcycle bleeding that lined up perfectly for the time of implantation bleeding. Early pregnancy tests were negative, and AF came a little late.
Heck, the last one even the DR. was worried I might be having an ectopic pregnancy (all tests negative, turned out to be my ovarian cyst), I had some symptoms too.

I'm sure this'll all work itself out.
