Nb1984, it's funny how much we seem to have in common, what with our lo's ages and how long we've been with our oh's!

That's really lucky how you moved to a place that already had a pink nursery! I'd have loved to have a surprise and then have the excitement of telling everyone what we'd had but me and oh are just too impatient and I think it made it more real for him to know his daughter was actually inside me and not just a baby. We started calling her by her name as soon as we found out. Oh and I was on microgynon too before we were ttc!

Beachlover1 I was the same when Summer got her first tooth. It just made me realise that my baby is actually really growing up! She's got 4 teeth now (2 top and 2 bottom) and I brush them and it's crazy to think just a few months back she had none and was my teeny tiny baby. Our lo's are really close in age too. Summer was born 1st July!

Crazy isnt it! I agree that in some ways it would help to bond, I am still in two minds, I wonder if we get to have a scan we might decide to find out!

Still cannot believe that soon we will be weeing on sticks again, madness!

I was so sick in my pregnancy though, I am dreading having that again & Ruby to look after! x

I know, I'm looking forward to ttc even more this time now my cycles are more or less settled to 32/33 days. When I had a break from the pill a long while back before we started ttc Summer my cycles ranged from 22-47 days so when we did start ttc and I got to cd49 I didn't even think of testing. I just assumed it was my cycles. It was my oh that rushed out to buy a test and begged me to take it. Even then I waited one more day before doing it and as I was sure it would be bfn I did it without oh while he was at work, I had to phone him and tell him he was right all along and that I was pregnant afterall! So I'm looking forward to roughly knowing my cycles and when af should be arriving!

I was lucky in that I had such an easy pregnancy. I had a few days early on when I'd feel a little bit nauseus but never actually sick but that lasted no more than a week. Then I had a couple of blackouts from low blood pressure and that was that. No cravings, no sickness nothing. Hopefully I'll get the same again as I'm not sure how people cope with a tough pregnancy when they already have a lo.

My friend is pregnant with her first and has the really bad sickness (it has a medical name) where she's constantly sick all the time and has been admitted into hospital 5 times already to be rehydrated via a drip (she's only 20 weeks). She's lost so much weight and will be on medication throughout her pregnancy to help control the sickness but she's been told once she's had it she will get it with future pregnancies. Then another of my friends is pregnant with her third and has the thing where you itch horribly all over. She had it with her first two and said it was unbearable. She wasn't going to have third because of it but an accident happened and she's happy now although suffering!
Seeing them makes me realise how lucky I was.

I hope you have an easier pregnancy next time around! I can imagine it's going to be tiring enough as it is without having sickness thrown in too!
