I had a tattoo done when I was 17 which seemed 'cool' at the time but as you get older, you realise it's a serious mistake!

I had 12 sessions (which was one a month) of laser tattoo removal and now it has totally disappeared!! I had it done at Sk:n, they have clinics all over the place. Green, black, red and white are the hardest to remove, the black outline is the easiest. In fact, the outline was gone half way through my treatments, but unfortunately I had a fox tattoo and the biggest colour was RED and WHITE!).

The more you have done, the more it hurts, as they turn up the strength of the laser, which blasts through the skin to smash the pieces of ink, so when the red was being remove stung like hell.

Best investment ever though, cost me 25 and 20 mins to put on, but 840 and 12 months to remove

I've uploaded some pictures to photobucket of my progress, from beginning to end, take a look!!

black is actually the easiest to remove hun- the laser works by seeking out the pigment in comparison to your skin colour so as black is the darkest its the easiest to react
thanks for the correction
no probs- sorry i dont like correcting people i just didnt want the OP to worry that the black would be hard to get rid of, i only know this cos ive suffered laser so many times lol

Oooh thank you both so much for letting me know that it actually works!!! I can't wait to get rid of mine!!! It was such an impulse decision - and tracyface you are so right, 25 and 20 mins to get done and FOREVER to get removed!

I want to see the pictures of the fox (on my work computer so I can't )

I hope your removal goes well!

Im considerin getting one of mine removed because its so stretched you cant even see what it is now from when i was pregnant. Theres stretch marks right through it and the skins really thin there so im not sure i could get anything done over it.
