So... I started a thread the other day about WTT without having my OH on board. It made me feel good to know I wasn't the only one .

However.. I've been avoiding my WTT journal and this section because a part of me felt guilty that I was WTT without my OH having the foggest idea about me wanting more.... So.. We had a chat this morning and I FINALLY admitted to how I feel.. And.. He feels the same!!

The problem (although not really a problem) that he has is that he does want more but doesn't want to set a definite date because he doesn't know if we will be in a position to TTC on that specific date which would then mean that I've built my hopes up only to be let down.. I kinda get where his coming from and I agree that it's a fair point.. He has said however that that doesn't mean he doesn't want more just that he doesn't want to put dates/times etc into the mix.. And so we've come to an agreement.. I can WTT (with his full support) but instead of saying we're going to TTC in 2013/14/15 etc we're just WTT until the time is right .. It could be a long wait but I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder

Which also means I can spend more time in this section getting to know you lovely ladies & more time on my journal

What a great feeling! Very happy for you and your OH, being able to have nice open chats about WTT and TTC is really great. It took a couple of months from the initial conversation with my DH about when we should start TTC to actually deciding on a date but I really valued his opinion on the situation and it has brought us even closer (which I didn't think was possible!).

I do honestly feel like I'm not hiding anything anymore.. I know it sounds stupid but every time I logged on to BnB I felt sooo guilty about being in here, like I was going behind his back

I know WTT until "the time is right" could take ages but it's such a relief to know I'm not waiting for something that may never have happened

good news !! it is lovely being able to just talk openly about it. i used to feel i shouldnt mention babies because he had said (over and over again) that he wanted to wait til we were ready, which i know is very sensible. he knew i was ready whenever he was so it was down to him when he felt okay with it. everyone knows how i'm baby and children mad (hard not to be when you teach reception!), before the wedding his family even joked they were betting on that i'll be pg by xmas...to be fair to them it was all in innocence, they didnt know we're waiting to try otherwise i'd think a bet was rather insensitive! its just worked out that fingers crossed they may be right (not that we've told them) xxxx
