Implant removal soon hopefully!

Tomoror at 2pm Im going to see the nurse about having my nexplanon out. Iv only had it since august but I hate it. Iv got terrible mood swings and take it out on OH and I feel crap. Iv had non stop bleeding since it was put in my arm and Im sick of it all. I know she'll probably try to persuade me to keep it in but...im standing my ground

It will come out soon

So...we probably wont be waiting til Leo is in school to TTC

OH isnt too sure when he wants to try but hes said he is swaying towards a closer gap

Just wanting to put that out there lol

Omg! i had my nexplanon removed 3 weeks ago, i had it in June and i had non stop bleeding up til bout 4 days after removal, i had bad acne, vile mood swings which i took out on OH poor man lol and just didnt feel my self mad me feel horrid! the nurse said i was very unlucky as most people are happy with it apparently. Well not me haha! hope your OH decides soo, were using pull out method at the mo can always hope for a slip up

Good luck! Only you know what's best for your body - I hate it when nurses try to convince you to keep something you have clearly stated you don't want any more! I mean, it's not like they have to live with it.

If you're just concerned about the bleeding (which it sounds like theres more than just that!) then they will ask if you want to go on the pill too to regulate them again. Thats what they did with my sister, but she ended up getting it out in the end.

Don't know if you've had one before, but prepare for a massive bruise on your arm and it will be sore for a few days as its healing.

Good to know someone else has something similar. Just want to feel back to normal. I really dont think hormones agree with me

Wev decided wer just going to track cycles and avoid sex on most fertile days or use condoms then.
wwchic - Iv heard its painful after so im hoping to have it taken out on a day OH is home from work so hes there to help with the baby in case its too painful for me

Yeh dont agree with me either! and yes very painful, although when the woman nummed it she didnt wait or even test if it was numb and i felt the whole thing

although i doubt thatl happen to you! bug bruise tho and sore x

Oh the woman had to put like 4 shots of anastetic in my arm and then she cut a bit that wasnt numb.. so I'm terrifed. But in about a months time, mine will be coming out

This nurse is lovely so it should be ok. OH will go with me so its ok. Just want it done now
