nearly an oops!

oh my goodness. Well, this morning me and oh were... Ahem, busy and he asked me if i just wanted to forget protection knowing its not a safe time! This is the man who doesn't seem a hundred percent behind the idea of a fourth baby! Well it was very tempting, its a good job i've got willpower. Ha ha ha ha! I just had to really think about why we are waiting in the first place. Hope he doesn't spring that one on me again tho as i'm not sure how long my will power and sensible head will last

Oh I'm proud of you! It's tough to say no. My OH knows I want to wait until May but he is always talking about us getting pg or trying and I'm like nooooo. Doesn't it feel like we spend so much energy trying to convince them then we turn around and have to restrain them? I agree with k....men!

Wow! You have some very strong willpower. That would have been very tempting.

well we're waiting for work and financial reasons really. I'd really like to take a full years maternity leave off next time and i'm waiting to go through a threshold at work so january next year works out best all round for ttc. I'm a teacher so i could unofficially start my maternity leave at the start of the summer hols in july and not go back until september the following year. It will be our last baby so i don't want to rush everything and miss out on lots of time with him/her. I'm enjoying wtt and planning every detail! I'd love a home water birth next time and i want a new pram and our children's rooms need new furniture in order to make space for new baby. Busy busy! Ha ha! And i seem to fall pregnant very quickly so i know an oops for us would mean a new baby appearing before everything is in place. Hee hee. I sound bonkers don't i? Willpower is a must! Silly husband doesn't understand my need to plan

Good for you for being able to stick to your WTT plan. I think if OH asked me that I'd agree immediately.
