How long have you been with DH / OH?

Hi ladies, i'm just wondering this as I was having a conversation with some of the girls at work about how long is acceptable before TTC! I had a MC almost a year ago when I had been with OH for just over a year, and now i'm impatiently waiting to TTC again

It will be 9 years this September but married for just over 3 years. We did wait a year after marriage to TTC, we wanted some us time before we had a baby. We are trying for #2 next month!

We've been together 4.5 years, married just over 2! Waiting to ttc #1! I don't think there is a right amount of time to wait, I think a strong relationship and circumstances are more important.

brenn09 I agree....i've known since day 1 that I want a baby with OH and we got pregnant fairly quickly. Unfortunately baby didnt stick and we're now putting TTC on hold but I still feel like I could fall pregnant now and be completely happy with my decision. Just waiting for OH to catch up!

We've been together 9 1/2 years and will be married 4 years in July. We started TTC #1 after 2 years of marriage. We are starting TTC #2 this June

I have been with mine for three years and going to get married this year!

We have been together for 7 years total, 5 years married. We'll be TTC #1 soon.

And, because I think age makes a difference in this discussion (i.e. if you get together later in life it makes more sense to get babymaking sooner) I'm now 29 and DH is 30.

Been together for 10 years and married for 5 months, been wtt to try until we were married and will be starting in July.

Molly you're right, I think if you get together later (i'll be 28 this summer) then its more likely you will have done a lot of the things you wanted to do before becoming a parent. My focus is being married and having a family now, i've done everything else that I wanted to do. I don't count my career in that as i'd like to achieve more but this is something that will just be put on hold when I have babies!
