WTT with #1 in June/July

Hi, I got married last year and my husband and I have agreed to start trying for a baby in June/July as we have a few plans in the next few months when it wouldn't be sensible to conceive (long haul flight incl) but I am very impatient as have been ready for baby for a long time. I'm so close but yet worried if we have any problems then the wait will be even longer. I guess what will be will be.

We did NTNP several weeks ago but I got all excited and hoping it worked anyway as was feeling unwell for a while. Don't think it did work but as I said can't be too disappointed as the next couple of months are busy and it will be better to wait just a bit longer.

I don't really have the kind of friends that I can talk about this with so have joined this forum so I can talk to people in the same situation. My husband is great but he doesn't get excited like I do until it's a reality and I just think about it all the time!!

Welcome! My OH and I will also be trying for #1 in June/July. We're both extremely broody but like you have plans in the next couple of months which would make it impractical (inc a long haul flight and moving house).

I also worry constantly that it will take a long time to conceive. I feel like I've waited so long it's pushed me to my absolute limit and I just don't know how I will cope if I have to wait yet longer. It also freaks me out that there's nothing I can do about it as I'm a bit of a control freak and very much a 'planner'.

Anyway, you're most definitely not on your own here! I could have written your post word for word and there's lots of other ladies here in the same boat

Hi thanks for replying! Yes I am exactly the same, and a bit freaked out by having no control over it too. I'm a bit of an over thinker!

We have nearly done every thing that we have wanted to do before having children (I've done everything husband wants to go to NY so that's what we are doing in June, we were going for November originally but no way can I wait that long lol)

Hi!

You are definitely not alone! DH and I are planning to start TTC in July, too. I would do it sooner, but I have some medical things to sort out first. It's nothing serious -- I need to wean off depression and anxiety meds as well as have a cervical polyp looked after.

I'm very anxious to start TTC because I'm over 35 and very concerned about the possibility of not being able to conceive, or having it take a very long time. I'm a control-freak and over-thinker too and I know I've worried about the possibilities way too much.

Anyway, hang in there! I hope the next few months just fly by!

I could of wrote this myself! me and DH are going to ttc in July this will be baby number 2. I also am dying to be pregnant but have a holiday in June so know its best to wait also financially better to wait plus i think a spring babyb would be nice. We are being very careful at the mo as we dont want a xmas baby. My DH the same as yours says he wants another but not like i do doesnt really talk about it.

be good to keep in touch as we will be ttc at the same time. xx

Hello!

Can I join in too?! We will hopefully be ttc in July. I've been really trying to get dates from DH as I'm so desperate to start asap. I've managed to get a "definitely by the end of July, maybe sooner", and that's as much as I can get now (despite lots of nagging), so fingers crossed! Men just don't get it, this is now all I can think about 80% of the time and I feel like I'm going insane! I know its not, but July feels like so far away and I too worry how long it will actually take once July arrives, hopefully not too long

Same here!
I'm WWT for #2 and am super super broody. We are WTT June/July this year because we don't want a Christmas baby. We fly back to the US for a month for Christmas every year; if I conceived any earlier I would not be able to fly internationally and my DH would be really disappointed as he looks forward to family Xmases.

Hi everyone, may I join? So happy to find a group of like minded gals here!

DH 41 & I 29 are thinking about starting proper TTC #1 in June 2012. WWT /NTNP because of my work commitments. We are having our 9th wedding anniversary in June and am thinking it is a good start date! Both of us are moderately broody, but content with current kid-free freedom and kept busy by work; planning for TTC soon more because of our age and concern that we may take a long time to conceive.

Nice meeting you & Hang in there everyone, June/ july will be here before we know it!

Hi everyone can i join. Though my situation is slightly different to everyone elses so im not sure if this is the right place to post, but I am currently going through an ectopic pregnancy and due to having a methotrexate shot i have to wait for three months before ttc again. So we will be trying June/July 2012! I cant wait! Hope we get those bfp right away! Baby dust to you all for june/july!
