WISHLIST.... Look what i found!

If your like me and constantly end up looking on the internet for things you hope to buy for your yet unconceived child....

I have come across the amazon wishlist, look on the amazon website and click on 'wishlist' in the top right of the page.

If your looking at any online store and come across an item that you like, you just click the wishlist symbol that will appear in your toolbar and it saves the item so you can go back to it at a later date. (not just restricted to amazon products).

I cant really describe it very well, so go take a look.......
Have fun!!!!

Yeah, I've been using the Amazon Universal Wishlist for awhile. It's great because it lets you add things to your wishlist from anywhere online - and the wishlist links to the online store that you found the item.

I can't add baby stuff to an Amazon wishlist though, 'cause people are aware of it - we use it for Christmas and birthday gift ideas for family.

Also, you should know that if people search for your Amazon wishlist using your email address, or your first & last name (if you've included that), they will find it.

I've been using the universal button for the Amazon wishlist for a while now.. eventually I made a private "baby wishlist" just for baby stuff! It is several pages long, I'm such a planner and researcher.. I've yet to move to the big stuff like strollers and a crib so I think that is an accomplishment, lol!!

MollyWeasley: You can make more than one and you can also make them private, so no need to mix them together and no need for anyone else to see it. I definitely wouldn't use it if it wasn't private, because so few people IRL know that we're hoping to try at the end of the year.

Oh wow, thanks Brenn! I didn't know you could make more than one list, or that you could make a list private. Now it is very tempting to start making a list...

I already have a general list of stuff we need (i.e. Carseat, breast pump, but not specific models/brand names) in a Google doc, shared with my OH. I've been getting lots of hand-me-downs from my SIL because she's done having kids so I wanted to make my own short list of the things left we need. One big advantage of being among the last in our circle to have a baby is hand-me-downs!!!
