Quick question....

I came off my pill in feb so have had one pill free normal cycle of 29 days. I'm now on CD 11 of 2nd natural cycle and since yesterday I've had a nagging feeling as if I'm about to start AF but haven't. What could this be?? It's not painful just achy.

Hmmm. It's hard to say for sure but it could still be your body resetting itself. My doc told me it can take a few months. Have you been feeling overly-stressed or physically unwell? I find these things can affect how I feel in the AF department. This probably isn't very helpful...sorry. Good luck finding answers!

I have been a little under the weather for a few weeks now. Maybe I just need some good sunshine to feel better!!!

Yeah that's a possibility! I have been on the pill for so long I can't remember what my natural cycle is like. I'm not using any tests at the moment to find out when I'm ovulating as we're not trying for a while yet.

Thanks ladies!

I've had 2 ovulatory cycles since quitting the pill and both times I had cramping before ovulation. It felt very similar to the cramping I would normally get on day 1 or 2 of my withdrawal bleed (actually worse!).

Sound like you may ovulate soon.

That sounds exactly the same!! Thanks for your help. I'm going to start keeping a record of when it happens each month! So do you ovulate after the pain or during it??

First cycle I had just one day of pretty strong cramping and it turned out to be ovulation day - so the pain was the follicle bursting and traveling down the tube (I felt it on my right side too).

Second cycle I had mild to moderate cramping (on and off) for 4 days (never as severe as cycle 1) and my last day of cramping ended up being ovulation day, according to FF.

Ovulation pain seems to vary quite a bit - and most women don't get it at all apparently. If you're trying to pinpoint ovulation, temping would be more reliable but it certainly doesn't hurt to track O pain - for some it is very reliable.

I'm not TTC for a good few months yet but nearer the time I might start charting temp or I'll get some OPK's! Thanks for your help! I've just noticed that its 2 days before you start TTC. Good luck!!!! Hope you get your BFP nice and quickly!
