I would definitely recommend it! I got mine a couple of years ago, for Christmas but it's the same version that is $79 on Amazon.. that's a pretty doable cost, plus you'll definitely save money on books when you're preggo because the books cost quite a bit less on Kindle! You can also get magazines on it! You can even read to the baby

I love mine, but I LOVE to read, ridiculously... Our local library also rents books on Kindle, too! I was so excited when I found out!

I have been very close to buying one but so far have resisted the urge. However, now that you have confessed, I may nip out later and get one...xx

Kismet - if you love reading (not just baby/pregnancy books) you MUST get a kindle. I have the app on my iPhone & use it all the time. It's so handy having something to read with me all the time!

I think I might just have a little visit to amazon this afternoon & order a couple more books - of course I have to compare the 'what to expect' range with others on the market don't I!?!

Let me know which ones you thought were particularly useful Vikster. I'm giving up trying to fight the urge. So I might as well buy the most informative ones.

I'm not a big book reader but love my magazines esp the pregnancy and birth one think I may purchase a before you expecting book on my iPad for the same reason as brenn09 to get in the best shape plus what foods I should be avoiding!

I go back and forth about the Kindle. My DH has one and quite likes it. I have the Kindle app for my phone, but only read on it when waiting for someone. It's too small otherwise! I played with the new iPad in Future Shop the other day and really really want one now. It's out of my budget at the moment, but maybe when I find work again.
