Waiting to see the Gynaecologist ( DESPERATE TO START A FAMILY !!)

Hi guys,

I'am new to this so not sure how it all works! so hope you can help me!!

My partner and I are hoping to start trying for a baby in september, but I have some fertillity problems, my peorids have been so in regualar that they might aswell be NON EXISTENT!

I have had lots of blood tests, and have had a swob taken with a internal look aswell, they have said that i may have polysistic ovaries, but couldnt know for sure.

So I have to see the Guynaecologist. My partner has already done a sperm test and we are just waiting for the results for that too so he can rule that out.

I just would like to know if any of you have been to see the Gyno and can help me with what i can expect.

I really hope I can fall pregnant at the end of the year, I have been so patient and have been soooo very broody for the past 3 years!!!
But I have been saving hard to be financially secure for when I am on maternity leave, as sadly my current job doesnt pay me maternity leave!

Hope someone can help me, I really am quite worried about this!

Thank you everyone xxxx

Karen xxxxx

Hi Karen , I'm Rach - due to start TTC in June,

I'm pressuming you're from the UK

Surely if you've been employed by the same employer for at least 26 weeks you must qualify for SMP (statutory mat pay).
have a little read of this:
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTax...dren/DG_175884

If your employer can't pay you Mat pay (and they must give you a SMP1 form that has a valid reason as to why they can not) you can possibly claim maternity allowance from the job centre... (it explains on the link)

xx
