Hi! I'm WTT No2 in June after my gallstone op, need a buddy!

Hi

I'm Sarah, I joined when I found out I was expecting my son, who's now 18mths.
I'm quite shy, so never really posted much on here, but now we are planning No2 I'd love to make some friends

When I was around 6mths pregnant with Leo I had what I thought was really bad heartburn, turned out to be gallstones.
I had a long battle with many doctors before I was diagnosed & because of the amount of time it took I've had to change my ttc plans.
We hoped to have two children within 15 months of each other. Doctors gave me a big fat no on that due to all the painkillers I'm taking

Buut, now I've got a date for my op (31st may!) I can start ttc straight after!

So, anyone else ttc in june want a buddy?

Hi : ) I'm waiting for a date to have my gallbladder removed. Hopefully it'll be within the next 3/4 months as I want to start TTC no.2 this Summer ideally. My son will be 1 in July. If I wasn't needing this op I think we'd probably be trying sooner. We've (perhaps stupidly) taken a few risks these past few weeks but I'm on top of it now and have condoms ready! My pain isn't too bad and isn't continuous. I've just been prescribed Diclofenac to take as needed. Had a few days last week where I needed them but am fine now. In a way, I suppose its nice to have a date you can start again. I was quite resistant to having the op at first but now I just want it over with so I can get on with life and making babies : ) x

I jinxed it! I posted about gallstones then ended up in a&e because of them

SugarFairy - They sent me home with diclofenac, my SIL said they made her have hallucinations & now I don't want to take them.
How do they affect you? I have tramadol & I wont risk taking them if I'm alone with Leo, they make me confused & slow lol!

I hope you get an op date soon, I got mine around 8wks after going on the list

Diclofenac are awesome IMO. I took them after my episiotomy when my son was born. No side effects for me then or now. Maybe your SIL had a bad reaction to them. They don't even make me sleepy, just take all the pain away! Why not give them a try when your DH is home then if you react badly you'll have someone there for your LO. I've been on the list 4 months already. Only saw the surgeon a couple of weeks back and he wants me to have an MRI before he operates. Still waiting for the date for the MRI but he told me he wants to do the op before the Summer holidays so I assume by July. Fingers crossed as I really want to start TTC asap. Although that depends on my post-Cerazette cycles and how long it takes my body to get back to normal : /

I will be trying in June for #3.

Glad to see you have a date for the Op.. are they just removing the stones or are they taking out the gall bladder?
