Anyone WTT for #2 until August/Sept 2012?

Hi Ladies, I haven't been on here for a while since my daughter was born last August but the broodiness is now kicking in and I know this website helps with that (or makes it worse I'm not quite sure!).

We having decided to try for number 2 after her first birthday so that will be 24th August. Will be time to start the folic acid soon
I am so excited at the thought of going through it all again, even the sickness and birth! Isn't it funny how mother nature tricks our brains into remembering it all as lovely?

Anyone else in a similar situation?

We're ntnp for #2 from 1st September 2012! We're looking for an 18 month- 2 year age gap so it makes sense to start when our daughter is coming up 9 months! I miss being pregnant so much and we both hate using condoms with a passion so it might change to "after her naming ceremony", which will hopefully be 18th August, but no earlier than that! I've been broody since she was born and started planning #2 whilst in labour! The midwives thought I was nuts! It was gratifying to have the community midwives come out and assume I was having another (saying "We'll see you next time") as I inferred from that that they must have thought I was doing a reasonable job looking after my newborn!

Hi Beca, I wasn't quite so keen after labour I remember thinking 'how does anyone ever do that twice?!' but I am now remembering it as a lovely experience lol.

We want around a 2 year gap too so think first birthday is a good time to start ttc, I would start now if I could but being practical I think hubby is right making me wait until August. So 24th Aug on the dot after her birthday party that'll be it, he won't allowed out the bedroom!

I notice your OH has long hair, so does mine, our daughter has already learnt not to pull hair as we refuse to cut ours.

xx

We are also going to be ttc in September. I am so broody my ovaries are practically shaking! We have a holiday booked in September which is why we are waiting until then as don't want to be pregnant whilst abroad, my morning sickness was awful last time. Dd will be 18 months.

We have planned to go on holiday in July or August too (a last minute booking probably), really looking forward to taking Bree away for the first time and she'll be one so old enough to enjoy it too.
I know what you mean about the morning (all day) sickness, mine was awful too.
Do you find that some of the sickness triggering smells still make you feel sick now? I still can't stand the smell of cocoa butter cream and ginger ale

Tanwen's still very much stuck in the hair pulling phase! There's no chance that my husband will get his hair cut but I'm going to be having mine cut back to my waist reasonably soon! That'll be about a foot of hair coming off so it's a bit scary and drastic but it'll be in much better condition to grow out again, which is good! Tanwen's enraptured by me and dh brushing our hair so hopefully that bodes well for when she's older and needs her hair brushed!

With us it's me having to be the sensible one when it comes to having more- I think dh would be trying now if I'd agree! It's not good I'm in charge though as our date has already crept forward from December! My logic is that if it takes a while and we're skipping a couple of months to avoid another December due date then it's best to have a nice while beforehand to give us the best chance of not still being ntnp next February/March/April!

Hey all
DS was born on 16th August last year, and we are also planning to start TTC no.2 soon. I'd like around a 2 year age gap so we're going to start TTC from end of July. So starting foilic acid again next week! Can't believe how quick it's come around!!!! In some ways LO seems too little still to be thinking of another, but to get the age gap I'd like, I guess this is when we need to start, lol... I had a horrible pregnancy as I suffered with pretty bad SPD/PGP and could barely walk by the end... So I'm dreading the possibility of getting that again - the chances are that having had it once, I'll get it again and I don't know how I'll manage this time with a baby to look after - the pain was horrendous And I had far from a good labour too - but even so, I straight away knew I'd do it again, and was broody again straight away, lol...

We're starting this August for #3, and we aim for a 3 year age gap. Our youngest just turned 2.
