I've been like this since I first decided I wanted a baby, around the age of 17. Being that I was on the pill and hadn't had sex, I'd say that is being a little overly hopeful (immaculate conception, anyone?)

But good to know that I'm not totally crazy. Or if I am a little whacked, I'm in good company

I notice that since I caught baby fever a few months ago that I tend to symptom spot... But I'm on the pill and I don't really keep track of my cycles, so it would take a super to derail our contraception. I do find myself secretly hoping that one will sneak past so then I won't have to do all the planning-- it'll just happen...

Wishful thinking!

Haha! I'm on the pill too and still think I am pg sometimes! I have known so many people get pg on the pill that it always worries me when the slightest new sensation appears before my period.

Same here. Every time I start having lower back pains and an upset stomach I cross my fingers for AF!

haha I'm so happy that I'm not the only one that thinks they're pregnant even if they get their period. I found out I have a (probable?) bicornuate uterus recently, which is when your uterus is shaped like a hear instead of a pear. Apparently sometimes when you are pregnant, the half of the uterus you are not pregnant in will try to replicate the pregnancy, and when it can't you bleed (like a period). So some women with a bicornuate uterus will have their 'period' while pregnant! Of course this means that every month, despite my period, I'm now unconvinced.
I'm on 16 dpo right now and my temp this morning was 36.7 (still high). Sooooo tempted to go out a buy a test. I did have a 16 day lp once before, so I'm going to hold out for Sunday since Saturday is the last possible day I could get my period!
