Never-ending WTTTC

Anyone just feel like TTC date will never come?

On one hand, I feel like all I do is think about how I can't ttc right now. How I want another baby so bad and that because of all these obstacles we can't. DH really wants another baby too and tells me all the time how he can't wait till we ttc as well.

On the other hand, when I think logically about it, I should be focused on the children I already have (which I do, I love them so much) and just concentrate on graduating next april! I have a good opportunity to do some things I want since my kids are getting older. Though Connor is still young, he's almost 3, Savannah is almost 9.

The thing that worries me is that I'm turning 29 this August and by the time DH graduates Grad school, I'll be 30 and he'll be 31. For some reason it just feel like the end of the world to me. I still want 2 more babies but wonder how I'm going to do that because I know the older you are the harder it is to conceive and the greater the risks are for downs.
Sorry just a tad vent!

Anyone else want to vent???? It would be nice to have others to talk to who feel the same as I do or are going thru the same :-/

I don't really have any advice but you're definitely not alone. I feel like it will be forever before we TTC, there's so much to accomplish first and I can't see how we will ever get there right now. I know I have time on my side being 21, but it's oing to be a good five years before we get anywhere close to TTC and it seems like ages away. This last year has dragged for me and I can't bear another 5 like this. But I know it will be for the best, somehow it will fall into place and my time will come.

29 is not old at all!

you have time hun

i know women who are 38 and 40 (my aunts one by marriage one by blood) who just had there first healthy as can be

you could be 18 and in not great health you cant conceive 29 is not old at all

the risk are for 35 and over and still women have healthy babies

stay positive worry about obstacles like that when they happen

but in the meanwhile have fun trying hehe!

I think about my age all the time. I'll be 29 in October and we'll start trying December/January. I think about all the risks and complications associated with being "older" and pregnancy, but I can't stress about it, but it does cross my mind A LOT. My husband actually mentioned that he wanted 3 more HAHAHA - he must be crazy. I think I'm done when I'm 33.

Hi bellablue,
Thanks for the optimism :-) I guess I just worry because I will be 30 before we even start ttc and I'm not sure how long that will take. I'm definitely not guaranteed a BFP the first go around. I guess I'm just worried that it will take a long time and since my eggs will be more aged I'm not sure what kind of shape they're in I'm not handling getting older very well.
But you're right, I'm going to face any challenges when and if they come.

I do the same thing!!! All I can think about is how time is not on my side anymore and there's a good year and half before we can even think of trying.

I was 31 when I got pregnant with my 1st LO and she is perfect (other than loads of attitude ). I am just now thinking about trying for number 2, and I am 33. Age is a little concerning but so many women have healthy babies well into 40's. I think you'll be fine!

yep I feel like it is NEVER going to come. Even though I have a LO already, my broodiness has been far worse than when I was childless. I feel it may be particularly bad now because I have went through it once and know what to expect, what I miss from when DD was a baby. My TTC date is about twice as far away as yours is we want to buy a house first, get settled in there, make personalized renovations to the house such as replacing lights, gardens, paint jobs, and wait until DD is potty trained as well. I feel like it is a lifetime away
