We're Waiting to Try but Need Help

I didn't know where to put this so I thought this was as good of a place as any. We don't want to try for another 4 months but I'm 2 weeks late with no positive test. I'm use to being two weeks late and then getting a positive but never have I needed to wait this long. I did take an ovulation test last night that come up with a almost complete positive so wondering if I just ovulated late or whether I am in fact pregnant since I know that the ovulation hormone and hcg are almost identical.

Theres a lot of people asking the same sort of questions, must be something wrong with everyone's periods lol. Two weeks is a long time to miss a period and with no positive thats very odd. Maybe you did ovulate late? I dont know its really hard to say. My period is four days late which is weird, Im only ever one day late if that. its probably nothing but its really hard not to think oh im pregnant lol. Maybe visit the doctor and get a blood test? Sorry i couldnt be much help xx

With my oldest it took 2 weeks for a positive to come up on a test and same for my second pregnancy which I ended up miscarrying. My youngest son was conceived shortly after that miscarriage and came up positive when I was first late, I knew it would take me two weeks to get a positive if I was so thought it would put me at rest since I was scared of getting pregnant so quick...HA yeah right like this kid would let me rest easy LOL. Ended up I was pregnant with twins at that point but miscarried the one twin soon after. That was drama and a half after that LOL

I'm just not use to it taking even longer. My periods are never this wonky unless I'm pregnant. I'm putting my faith in me being pregnant or as sad as it sounds even a miscarriage again because my mother was around my age when she found out she had ovarian cancer and I'd prefer it not to be that instead. I need my little girl yet.

Wow you sound like you have been through quite a roller-coaster, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. You might actually be pregnant then if it took you two weeks to find out, who knows it could even take longer? If i was you i would probably go get my bloods checked. That will tell you for sure if your pregnant or not. Try not to worry hun, Im sure its not cancer. Let me know how you get on x

It sounds entirely possible given your background. I would think a visit to your GP would be a good idea like Zaly suggested so they can do some beta HCG testing.

Still so confused. Now three weeks late and still nothing. Wish I could get my blood test done but I work 9-5 and can't seem to find a clinic that is open evenings or weekends trying to think of other reasons that would make me this late but wondering if maybe I just skipped a period and there's no real need for worry but it's bugging me. How am I suppose to say for sure what my last three menstrual cycles were like if I haven't had one of them. GRRR just hope it's nothing to worry about. Please goddess let it be nothing to worry about. None of my usual symptoms of pregnancy either so thinking, but never ruling out, it's not that I'm pregnant

I'm sorry you're going through this! Maybe you could get an end-of-day or first thing in the morning appointment at a clinic so you wouldn't miss too much work? I hope you get the news you want ASAP!
