Baby sharing food

I've got something I'd like to ask about, out of curiosity.

Our LO is 11 months now, she was on breast milk only until she was 7 months old, and then we started baby led weaning. It's been a huge success from day one.

Right from the start, she was really keen to share her food with us, and she's even more keen now than she ever was. Whatever she has in her hand, she'll constantly offer it to Mum or me. We say 'thankyou' every time, sometimes we take a bite for real, more often than not we don't.

I'm just curious as to whether most babies are eager to share their food? Or is our Lo particularly generous?!

I really hope this sharing attitude carries over to sharing her toys and so on!

Aww, how sweet
No, ds isn't sharing with his food and we BLW too. He has just started holding things out to us (not food) but when you go to take it, he holds on - so we've decided he's just 'showing' it to us instead!

Yeah, my lo is exactly the same - he always wants to share his food with everyone! He doesn't stop at myself and his daddy - he holds it out to anyone who is around - even down to waiters in restaurants, etc!!!!

Thanks! It is very sweet. It might just be a phase though.
