Help! Lazy eater

Someone help please.

When we started weaning we did a mix of BLW and TW, she didnt take to the BLW well as she choked alot.
Im not trying to encourage her to pick her food up and eat it herself, except shel just sit there and throw it, someones nibble it but refuses to eat it herself, but if i pick it up and hold it shel eat it... She can eat her dinner herself but for some reason thinks its easier when i feed it her, and if i dont she throws the queen of all tantrums... think iv made a rod for my own back... help please

Was she choking or gagging?
We started with blw and ds got lazyitis too! I gave him bits of food to play with most of the day! My floor was a mess and not to jinx it but we are getting back on track.
Some meals I just gave finger food first

I have had exactly the same with my boy!. such a lazy bum lol!. what the health visitor/nursery nurse advised me to give him his purees and gradually make it lumpier and give him the solid form, ie mushed banana and ill give him a piece of it to play/eat with.
Today I have had a breakthrough he's actually eaten a piece of toast with butter on that has been cut into squares with scrambled egg!.
