Lily-Mae is 4 months she is on 7oz milk every 2-3 hours ... So I was advised to move her onto solids so I'm prob gonna start her next week . I was told you will know yourself when their ready ... And she seems to be getting a hungrier baby .

We started at 6 months and are BLW so all I started with was the ikea antilop high chair (amazing!!) and the ikea full body bib (sold as a toddler smock I think). I also purchased a few baby spoons and a few weeks later I bought some suction cup bowls. That's it, easy peasy if you wait til 6 months

Oh and I did buy the blw book/cook boob when he was around 3 months so I could figure out what I was doing

Just because a baby is bottle fed, doesn't mean you need to start at four months. Not saying that you haven't done your research on your own or anything though. I'm just stating something

As long as you feel she's ready I would give it a go.
It's so exciting to start weaning your baby.
We started Lilly on purees when she turned five months, but she wasn't extremely ready. Tried again two days ago and she loves them!

I think it's interesting you were told to start from four months because your baby is bottlefed. The NHS says six months. Ah well. Best of luck, but if you can, wait a bit longer for her gut to develop a bit more.
