pumpkin

i'm trying to introduce as many new flavours as I can so I just bought a Pumpkin.... Now what lol?! Anyone got any good puree recipies for Pumpkin please?

Currently Feeling:
I just did it like a squash, cut it in half, cleaned it out, put it in a baking dish with the cut side down and added about an inch of water to the dish and baked until soft. Then just pureed it up with some breastmilk. But it's also good with apple. Here are some other recipes

Yeah just treat it like a butternut squash, which I've treated like potato, i.e you can boil, steam, roast and puree. IMO they're a right pain to peel though, one of those Y-shaped peelers much easier than the cylindrical type iykwim

ive just done it roasted with a bit of cinnamon sprinkled over it. I'll be interested to see how he gets on. Thanks for your replies

Yeah I use a y-peeler too, or if you're roasting it just leave the skin on and peel it off after cooking

So I tasted it... wasnt brilliant in my opinion but he seemed to love it !
