I just grated a cold hard boiled egg and mixed it with full fat creme fraiche and spread it on toast - Adam loved it (first he looked at it very suspiciously, then tasted a dot of egg and wolfed it down).

Humous, tuna mayo, broccoli/grated cheese and mayo or humous, banana, any other fruit puree, tomato puree, philidelphia, avocado (bleurgh, yuk yuk - but bubba likes it!), just butter, thin marmite, oily juices from roasting veges, yoghurt. Dying to do honey, but sure there's some reason you can't!

No, you can't do honey till 1 year: the pollen in it may carry a fungal spore which most of us don't notice, but can cause disastrous food poisoning in a very immature digestive system.

Rowan likes sardines on toast: tip a can of sardines in tomato sauce into bowl, mash with a fork (removing backbones if present), spread on buttered toast, grill lightly. I always use butter rather than marge if I'm using anything: you have to with sardines, otherwise they fall off. Toast soldiers dipped in the yolk of Mummy's breakfast egg are also a hit.

Amy had Marmite very ocassionally (maybe once a month?) because of the salt. She does enjoy it when she has it though, although how she can taste it I don't know...I put such a tiny slither of it on you can barely see it on the bread, lol.

Amy normally has butter, cheesey spread, mashed banana, tomato sauce, leftover purees (not so much now because she doesn't really have them anymore) & baked beans on her toast
