Where do you start when weaning..?

Hi All,
So as the title says i would like to know when the time comes how exactlay do i go about weaming my LO..This is my first baby so i hardley know much about weaning i am sort of learning as i go along kinda thing I never realised just how important it is that i wean my baby properly with a healthy diet..I would like to know what are the KEY essentials for weaning..?? Is there any speacial kind of spoons i will need..?? is a blender really useful..?? how do you go about freezing foods you have pre-pared..??

I would like to be able to find lots of yummy recipes for my LO so i can make these at home for him and not always from the jars, Any information anyone can give me i would be extremally greatful, i am worrying about what's going to happen when the time comes lol...My LO is nearly 4months so i still got a while but i know some babies are ready at 4months and if my LO is i wont be ready

It's going to be such an exciting time i just would like to know the inn's and outs about weaning and the best way to start

Thank you all inadvance..x

If you're going down the purée route, I'd agree Annabel Karmel is really recommended. If you're interested in Baby Led Weaning, the book by Gill Rapley is great. I've no experience of blending stuff, but I'd definitely recommend looking into BLW if you haven't already. It's been amazing for us!
