Weaning advice needed for 7 month old

Hello all

We started weaning at 5.5 months and all was going well. LO has been taking to food brilliantly. But over the last couple of days she will not touch food! I don't know what to do. I'm loosing my mind and my patience with her.

I offer food an hour after a breastfeed. She has 4 breastfeeds a day.

What could be causing this sudden change in her eating? I'm considering offering solids before a breastfeed just to get her to eat it.

Our routine on a good day is as follows:

7:30am BF
8:30am solids

11:30am BF
12:30pm solids

3:30pm BF
4:30pm solids

7pm BF

Yes she is taking milk ok. Always fed her solids one hour after bf and she was fine. Why the sudden change? Maybe she's teething...

I have the same problem (although I formula feed). My LO hardly eats anything now and some days she doesn't want much milk either. Can't get her to drink any water. Maybe just a few sips now and again. I think she may be teething, so it could be that.

I share your frustration.

Glad I am not alone. I'm just going crazy try to think of changing feeding routine etc. What is your routine on a good day? Probably teething...she still takes milk ok....

A good day would go as follows:-

7am 7oz bottle
8.30am Porridge (4 teaspoons of powder mixed with formula) plus a tiny bit of toast with butter
11am 6oz bottle
1pm half a pouch of stage 2 (either Plum, Organix or Ellas Kitchen) tiny bit of bagel with butter, tiny bit of chicken.
3pm 6oz bottle
5pm Small pot of Fromage Frais and a few finger foods - e.g. baby corn, roasted peppers or half a fish finger
7pm 8oz bottle
7.30pm Bed
