Cereal "just add baby's usual milk"

Yes I express in the morning and mix BF with most of my baby's food including rice cereal, bananas, anything really.

I never bothered with that. Once they're 6 months, they can have cow's milk in cooking. We've never mixed breastmilk into food, only full fat cow's milk

Really? I never knew you could do this. I FF so I still make a separate tiny bottle up for his cereal so he doesn't lose any from his actual bottles.

If you're concerned he's not taking enough milk from his bottles, then there's no harm in using breastmilk or formula. But if the milk intake is ok, then you don't need to make porridge or anything else using any milk other than full fat. Me and LO share a bowl of ready brek each morning

He's not a big milk drinker at all IMO, 3 x 8oz a day so I'm not too bothered about making up a separate bottle of formula to mix into things, I just didn't know you could use full fat milk, it's good to know.
