When to introduce new foods?

Hi everyone,

My LO is 5months old tomorrow and a few weeks ago I started to wean her, at the minute she's happily having breakfast around 8:30am and pureed veg/fruit at around 4:30pm. Im just wondering when I can start adding meat or fish to her food at 4:30pm? Everything I have been reading always gives you the guideline of 6months old before you can give them this and that, but for us out there that starting weaning before the guideline age when can I add these foods?

Any advice appreciated

K xx

I started weaning at 5 months and gave her just fruit and veg purees till 6 months when I started to introduce meat, fish and grains. You can also start introducing dairy at 6 months but I couldn't with mine as she has cows milk allergy. Hope this helps x
