Just wondering what your 10.5 mnth olds are eating, I feel like my DS is behind with his eating which is totally my fault
What are your LOs around the same age as my DS eating????

I have a 10 month old, I'm so stressed with his eating (along with other things) I'm not sure if it's ever going to get better. He hates every food other than banana, cornflakes and bread. I cook so much stuff for him, make him different sandwiches give him various tastes and textures and it just all goes wasted. We do a lot of finger foods but as soon as its goes in his mouth he can't bear it there and spits it out!
Feel like I'm tearing my hair out, I made 3 different things for lunch yesterday and he hated everyone. I started doing the wrong thing of offering fruit after something savoury and I'm sure he's cottoned on to it! He's not drinking as much milk now either, yesterday all he had was 2 bites of bread, few spoons of cornflakes and a taste of pasta, chicken and rice and tea cake. I know everyone on here seems to say not to worry especially the baby led weaners but it's not the amount that's worrying me it's the fact he hates everything in his mouth. He's been like it since I started weaning, so it's not improved in 4/5 months, if anything it's worse! I've got such a fab eater with my 12 yr old, I think I'm being punished for gloating!!

My LO has just turned 11 months and I think he is a fairly good eater but I wouldn't say he was brilliant.

He usually has
7am Breastfeed
8am 3-4oz milk mixed with 4+ or 7+ months Baby cereal
11am (Some days) Snack - Banana or dry Cheerios
12.30 Half jar 7Month+ baby food, large yogart and a small bit of bread or fruit from my lunch
3pm - 8oz Milk
4pm (Some days) small snack - fruit, baby biscuit, baby crisp
5.30 - Homemade dinner 120g, pudding and maybe a small snack
8pm - 9oz Milk

When he is teething he is really bad and last week hardly ate anything. He is not very good with large lumps and wont eat any of the 10month+ plus baby food. He is not great with finger foods but loves bread, bannanas, and pear. I try him with new finger foods a lot and he usually wont try them.

I have been using the Annabell karmel website for recipes and he seems to like almost all of them. I have started making the stews etc for all of us and then just mashing his up.

He wont drink any water so the only liquid he has are his milk feeds.

Hi, I'm going to stalk this thread as I have the same issue I think. My LO has been BLW but it's dawned on me that she's getting quite old now and isn't really eating....today she had:
Breakfast: 3 spoonfuls of weetabix
Snack: A small piece of bagel & cream cheese
Lunch: Half a strawberry, 2 grapes, a few bites of banana, 3 blueberries
Snack: A small piece of croissant
Tea: One bite of a roasted wedge of sweet potato
Everything else went on the floor

It's so stressful seeing that written down!!

She does drink water and has a lot of BF throughout the day still, she is getting teeth through which seems to have increased her desire for BFing and subsequently she's lost her appetite for solids but still, she was never much better than this

With BLW, I really wouldn't worry about eating only small amounts at this stage. Maybe try offering a few different foods - maybe she'll find one she absolutely loves! My LO only really started clearing his plate at 10/11 months, but then he had a stomach bug and a cold and he went back to almost exclusively milk. He's picked up again since his birthday and will eat pretty well now most days.

Thank you, it's actually very reassuring to hear you say that!

I just feel stuck now and not sure where to go. I know I need to just offer loads of vegetables that I've steamed but I'm worried he won't eat enough. Silly thought I know but he does eat a lot so I don't want him going hungry.
Makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one having issues but I wish I knew what to do next
