Roasted anything - meat, veg
Breaded chiken breast steaks.
Home made burgers (very easy and yummy)
sweetcorn with cheese omlet
Fish fingers (from BLW cook book)

If I'll think of anything else, I'll let you know.

I always have a pack of fish fingers in the freezer as emergency food - I can get in the door and have fish fingers mashed spud and peas ready in 20 minutes. Just go careful with salt content.

Another favourite in our house is half a chicken breast chucked in a pirex dish, some new potatoes sighs skins still on, root veg (carrots, parsnip etc) thrown in a roasting tin an chucked in the oven with olive oil drizzles over it for about 30 mins - mini roast chicken dinner. Lo loves that. Weve hit point where I'm of the attitude of everything in moderation so things like gravy, whilst salty, the amount lo has isn't gonna hurt her.

Have u considers freezing left overs so you can just microwave them when I'm a hurry- cottage pies etc are great for this.

I freeze everything.

Me and lo tend to have breakfast and lunch together but evening meal is too early for my liking so She eats alone and dh and ineat later.

I freeze loads - even mash - scoop it onto a baking sheet, in the freezer then pop into a bag when it's frozen for quick meals.

Thanks ladies! Love the mini roast chicken idea! My little boy loves anything roasted or baked rather than steamed so these are great.
I find though that he gets really impatient waiting for things to cool down....

Omlettes and pancakes are a hit here. She usually has things like cheese, onion, chicken, ham, peas in them. They are great if OH and I are eating later and she needs her dinner.

Any type of pasta gets demolished within seconds too. Often I will boil pasta, then drain, add butter, grated cheese and sweetcorn.

xx

My LO loved her home made pizza slice, I made our own dough but you could use pitta, spread tomato purée on with some ham and a sprinkle of cheese.

Roast dinner goes down well I just give her bits of ours she loves Yorkshire pudding.

Pasta in tomato sauce and I give her a chunk of garlic bread.

Like pp said I think anything in moderation is fine. I will be stalking this for ideas xx

Just try to relax. My lo didn't gag a lot, but I was so scared the first time. I am still afraid of allergies, but I guess you can't get anywhere if you will not just try!

It's totally normal to fear choking. But try to keep in your mind that gagging is very common but chocking is quite rare and gagging and choking are completely different things.

Gagging is actually good as it helps LO learn to move food round their mouth and you can see that anything they can't handle gets brought back up.

I eventually got used to the gagging and only twice have I had to whack LO on the back to help her bring something up.

Start slowly hun and build your confidence. You'll be surprised how well LO's cope with food!

xx
