i make a tomato sauce & freeze it in batches.

1 400g tin chopped tomatos.
one small onion/half a big one
1 clove garlic
3 table spoons of tomato puree
5/6 basil leaves. or 1 teaspoon dried basil
pinch of pepper

fry the onion & garlic
add tin tomatos, and half tin of water.
wait until it simmers.
add rest of ingredients (pepper & basil to taste).
bring to boil.
cover & stir every few mins for 15 mins or until its reduced down to thickness you want it.
done.

I make a lot of cheese sauce with pasta and various things like tuna, broccoli, cauliflower etc. this is the recipe..

50g unsalted butter (although I use about 25g, 50g seems like too much butter to me whilst I'm making it)
50g plain flour
600ml milk
250g cheddar , grated

1. put the butter in a pan and melt
2. add the flour and mix
3. add the milk gradually (it looks runny but it will thicken)
4. add the cheese and stir til you get a nice saucey consistency.

super easy it's a good base for a lot of dinners as the ingredients are constantly in my fridge/cupboard.

p.s add macaroni and some chopped spinach and there's macaroni cheese!

I usually make tomoato sauce for pasta:

Tin chopped toms
Dollop of tomato puree (sorry not good with measuring )
Good sprinkle of garlic granules/clove fresh garlic
Sprinkle of basil
Sprinkle of oregano

I put this on LOs pasta then add the following for us:
Soy sauce to season
Bacon/pancetta/chorizo
Fresh chillis or dried chilli flakes
