BLW-nothing goes in mouth

not even her toys, is this normal for a 6month old?

she's been taking food from our plates for about a month, but she just looks at it. but as i said, she doesn't put anything in her mouth, just her hands she did go through a phase at 4 months of putting everything in her mouth, but not since.

I'm not sure about the not putting things in her mouth, was she a sicky baby? Does she have a bit of an aversion? I know Omarsmum's son didn't put things in his mouth really (I think) message her?

But she doesn't NEED food right now, your breastmilk will be enough. Food's just for fun until 1! And you hear a lot about babies who just aren't interested until they're a bit older

Haha yeah! Next time I'm waiting until my kid jumps into a seat and says "Can I have a steak? Cheers mum" then we'll start weaning

Omar didn't put toys in his mouth when he was a baby, we tried BLW but it didn't work as he used to pick up food & throw it, he also used to get irritated from the feeling of food on his hands (until now we have this issue but it's getting better)

His milk intake was low (FF) so we had to spoon feed him at 7 months from what we're eating. xx

just a little update to say she finally put some food in her mouth the otherday was cheese on toast, so not the healthiest option but she loved it and sucked the live out of the bread. she also tried to get banana in there too, but it kept slipping out of her hand, so the dog ended up with it
