BLW with reflux

Hi ladies, DD started BLW a couple of weeks ago, we've just been giving her veggies and some (non acidic) fruit so far and she loves it

She turns 6 months on Friday so we're going to start giving her other food to try, meat, pasta, bread etc.

But I'm just wondering what should be avoided with reflux? I find that she suffers if I eat anything dairy, creamy, acidic or spicy. So I'm presuming I should avoid giving her these? Or do I just try her on a little to see how she goes?

Thank you x

I would say try her on a little and see how she gets on.

Evie had reflux for 17 months and I found she was bad with tomato and if she had a drink WITH her meal. I always offered water before and then after but not during

I would try her on everything and see what happens. Is your LO on gaviscon or anything? I second Miss_Bump about the water. Jessica would drink some and it would bring everything back up.

Jessica was on omeprazole, gaviscon and carobel until 13 months. She's now just on the Gaviscon 3 times a day and she's doing really well. We just have to be careful about filling her tummy too much or she'll bring the whole lot back up.
