What are you supposed to do if LO chokes on food?

??? Anyone have any advice? My LO is getting adventurous and wolfing her food down, gagging, re chewing, but I'm now worried about chocking cx

If your baby gags you do nothing, if your baby is actualy choking you would do 5 back slaps Inbetween the shoulder blades.

Your best bet would be to se if your local surestart offer basic first aid courses, some offer them free of charge.

And how do you tell the difference between gagging and choking? It's not something I've ever needed to think about before!

Choking is silent and they will go blue very quickly and will look panicked. Gagging is noisy, they will be making wrenching noises and movements with their mouth and tounge.
