Sorry, haven't been on for a bit... the recipe my LO loves is this:

1 1/2 tbsp veg oil
1 onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic peeled and crushed
1 1/2 tbsp flour
1 tsp paprika
300g lean stewing steak
400ml chicken stock (I use veg as well!)
200g carrots, peeled and chopped
300g potatoes
sprig of parsley
sprig of thyme
110g button mushrooms sliced

Preheat oven to 150c
Heat oil in casserole dish, saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes
Mix flour and paprika together and toss meat in it to coat
Add meat to pan and cook until browned
Add stock and stir for 1 minute
Add vegetables and herbs
Cover and cook in oven for 2 hours
Add the mushrooms and cook for 30 minutes
Puree in blender

It looks complicated, but it's actually really quick... if I don't have fresh herbs in, I use dried and at first I pureed the whole thing, as she's got older, I switched to blitzing the meat and mushrooms and mashing the rest but now, she pretty much manages everything on her own!

I should add that this never purees down as thin and runny as shop bought food!

AK also has a lovely sweet potato and lamb recipe that LO loves!
