hm revenue and customs keep cutting the line

Hi,
I've tried calling the tax credits number using both the 0345 300 3900 and 0845 300 3900 numbers. I get through all the menus and the automated voice tells me I am being put through to an advisor and then the line cuts? I called three times yesterday and today and the same thing keeps happening. There is no other number or online contact form so I'm stuck!

I know they 'upgraded their systems' over the weekend but surely it should be fixed by now or is it just me?

I was cut off twice yesterday. It's normally like this at this time in the year when everyone is ringing up with their p60 figures. I am going to try again next week.

Are they actually open or do they close to enquiries for a couple of weeks like tax office do? I need to get through to them too

Does that not depend on your tariff?
0845 is free from BT landlines anyway isn't it? Or at least I hope it is. Lol

Thanks for letting me know they are open. Do I just keep trying until I get through? x

I don't know if on all tariffs, but it's inclusive on virgin mobile.

I got through the first time, it didn't cut they just put me on hold and it wasn't a long wait x
