1 week late and all the symptoms but confused....

Hi everyone,
I'm completley new to this sort of thing so please bear with me
Last month I decided to stop taking my B/C after being on it for approx. 3 yrs. I have been having unprotected sex at least 4 times a week but for the last 2 weeks i have had mild cramping pretty much constantly a little more in the mornings. i am approx a week late to when i thought i would start on my first cycle but AF is yet to appear? i have had a few pg symptoms like headaches and nausea but i dont know whether its a side effect of coming off the pill or i am extremeley lucky and have caught straight away. Would love to know if anyone else has gone through the same or had any info etc. I dont want to test yet as im scared of the dreaded negative result!!

HI!

WHen I came off BC I was very sick and have symptoms that were the same as preg symptoms. I thought I was pregnant 2 and it turned out just to be from coming of BC! However you never know, you can be pregnant so I would take a test to find out! GOOD LUCK I HOPE YOU ARE!!!

It can take up to a year for your cycles to regulate after coming off of BC. Have you been doing anything to track your O date (temping, checking CM, OPKs, etc.)? If you aren't sure of when you O'd then you can't be sure if AF is really late. You might be wasting your $$ on those pee sticks.

Your right i dont know for sure if i have O'd but me and my partner have tried to have sex at least every other day just in case (and its fun trying) and i had quite a bit of CM approx 3 weeks ago.. which i always used to relate to O... I bought a 2 pack for £4.99 so going to try tomorrow then if not just play the waiting game. xxxxx Thanks xxxx

P.S any advice or help etc is much appreciated xxx

It's not the amount of CM that indicates O, but the type. If it's watery or like egg whites, then that can indicate that you are O'ing. Having sex every other day can't hurt anything though Good luck with the test tomorrow morning. Make sure you update us when you have the results!
