I actually can't believe that 1 whole year has passed since we said 'I do'!
As the first anniversary is 'paper' I've bought Matt a lovely card from Funky Pigeon, with our wedding photos on it, some tickets to see Russell Howard's new comedy tour in December and I've wrapped a little box with '52 reasons why I love you' inside so that he can read one a week until our next anniversary - does all that sound ok? I realise the wrapping/gift bag is a little bit girly, but he pays no attention to them so it means I get to keep the spare sheet and the bag once he tosses them aside
LO is going to stay with MIL tomorrow night so we're gonna go out for a nice meal and have a few drinks too
