1 year old or nearly 1 year old girls at christmas

I have seen alot of girls on here who have little girls born November, December, January so they will be one or nearly one at Christmas. What are you thinking about buying your little girl for christmas?

I keep looking at dolls houses and little kitchens but know she is still too young but can't wait to buy her these things. I saw a 'my first buggy' it was pink and the LO puts her dolly in the buggy and pushes it around like a walker.

Can't wait til christmas, they will get so much more out of it this year

My lo will be one in feb, for xmas we are inflating a pink castle in the lounge and filling it with balls (our house is tiny, its going to take the whole room!). We were going to get a smart trike but think we may leave that til birthday now, she is going to get so spoiled off everyone.

Jenny isn't going to be one until March, but we're thinking about getting the doll and stroller too - it's too cute!!!!

Oh my god Skylar LOVES her dolls! She has one newborn one and one with loads of hair and then other soft ones, but she chooses these over any other toys in her box. I've seen that stroller and the baby in it, love it, girly

Anna will be 1 on 11th Jan - not sure what we will get her - I think she is still young - certainly for dolls and prams - of course they will grow into using them etc. I was never a doll and pram girl when I was young so I will no doubt just wait til she tells me she wants a doll and pram!!

Some kind of ride-on thing maybe??

I try to steer clear of dolls and "girly" toys as i dont feel they have any real educational value at Rivers age but of course thats just my preference.

Daisy will be one at the end of Jan and so far we have gotten her a walker and a ride on pink pony. We have already said we will get her some clothes but then put the rest in her bank account as she will appreciate that more when shes older than a christmas she wont even remember. I am so excited for christmas this year xxx

We were thinking of getting her a push along type toy too, and maybe a couple of Vtech type toys. We probably wont go too mad tho cos it's her birthday a few weeks before that, and besides, everyone else in the family will be getting her loads of stuff! We dont have a huge flat to store it all in either

bluebaby thats exactly what I'm gonna get Ayla for xmas.. I seen it in the argos catalogue and it looks better than the usual strollers.. I'm clueless as to what else to get her tho..

I have bought that pushchair for Daisy for christmas and it looks really good. The wheels are really wide so are ideal be used as a walker and the doll is cute, plus it makes sounds too. I love it.

I also got her this which is really good. I am quite looking forward to playing with it myself!

And some other stuff like a talking waybulloo, books, bath toys, a gloworm seahorse, stacking cups, a car where you push the top down and it drives off. I am still going to get her a steiff bear as we are got her one when she was born and will get her another one every year, a party dress from Monsoon, a shape sorter, a my pal Violet dog and a few more things. Some of the stuff we've got/are getting will be for her birthday 2 days before christmas too.

Lola is 1 the week before christmas and so far we've got her a smart trike, a ride on mouse thing called a weelie-bug, a doll and dolly outfit, little red riding hood puppets, books, vtech remote control puppy, dressing gown, little miss daredevil wellies, 2 disney dvds. We'll get a few more bits over the next few months and some stocking fillers. Trying to spread the cost!!

It does look good doesn't it. I also bought her the v-tech pink push along walker for her christmas but i gave it to her about a month ago when she started cruising the furniture I'm afraid to buy anything else incase i just give it to her, too impatient for Christmas You have got loads of stuff.

Madelyn's birthday is a week before Christmas so I'll just split all the things we buy between her christmas and birthday. Hope she doesn't miss out.

My LO is 1, 2 weeks before Christmas so this will be her first 'proper' Christmas I've been picking up bits and pieces as I see them - a book here, a little toy there etc (as having her birthday and Christmas within 2 weeks will be quite expensive so I've started early )

I'm not sure what big stuff I'll get her yet but I'm loving the ideas you ladies are giving me!

We're getting Mairi a Bounce and Spin Zebra for her birthday on 1st December and a Wheelybug for her Christmas, other than that, I have no idea... her Godmother is getting her a Fisher Price Pull Along Phone, as she's transfixed my the Direct Line ad with the phone and mouse. xxxx
