Since last night my son has not been himself and doesn't want to feed . Everytime i try he just screams but he will happily suck on either his hand , my finger or dummy . He's also sleeping alot more then usual . I thought it was trapped wind but nothings coming up and other then when i try and feed him when he's awake he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Also he's been sick 4 times this morning which is scary saying he hasn't really eaten.Anyone know what could be causing this or anything i could try to help? Thank you x

have you checked his temp?
i'd either phone health visitor or doctor, sounds like he might have a wee bug
xxx

Sounds like a tummy bug hun. There is a lot going round at the mo. My little one just had it and the first sign was that he wouldn't drink his milk all day, and then in the evening he started being sick. Keep an eye on his temperature and offer Calpol if necessary.

Just try and offer him sips of water as well often as his usual milk and get him to the docs to check he isn't getting dehydrated. If it is out of hours there is always NHS direct too.

Other than that you just have to ride it out I'm afraid. Hope he feels better soon xx

I agree with the others, sounds like the start of a little tummy bug. You could always take him to the doctor to get it checked out to put your mind at ease.

no he doesn't seem to have a temperature . Can you give calpol to a 2 month old? And he's still having plenty of dirty and wet nappies but his soft spot seems really depressed . Could this mean he is dehydrated ? I am not able to get to the doctors atm unfortunatly :( x

Calpol is ok from 2 months, but you'll find it easier if you have a syringe. Not sure if it will help a tummy bug though.

If he won't take his milk try offering a little cool boiled water - you could give that in a syringe or from a spoon if it's easier.

If you're worried and can't get to a doctor, call NHS direct and they'll advise you - their number is 0845 4647.

When i put my finger in his mouth a minute ago , part of his top gum felt sharp , could could behavior be down to teething ??x

The only thing that couldn't be put down to teething is the being sick. The rest of it could be. If you think it is the teeth then calpol might help, you could also try some teething remedies, like a cold teething ring or I've heard the powder sachets you can get are good too.
