10 wks with back spasms and headaches

Hi ladies.

I am 10wks and today I started having very bad back spasms and severe headache that will not go away. Are these normal symptoms? I've never been this far pregnant before.

I'm also freaking out a bit as I have been told that back pain is a sign of a miscarriage.

I had spasms early on in my positive. I think it was7 or 8 weeks along. I didn't know what the heck was going on at first and it freaked me out so I got scanned and all was fine. I'm now 22 weeks and still get headaches but the spasms have thankfully stopped. I hope yours works out positively as well.
