12 Week Scan Twins and all is well.

Hi

I hade my Nuchal scan today and all was brilliant with the babies, one measures 7.3cm and the other 6.5cm so they are bang on size for my 13wks.

The lady wo did the scan though was horrible and spent the whole time moaning that the babies would not get in a good position for her to do the measurements. And then the pictures that se gave us were not very good either, the pictures of twin 1 just look like a blob!!! The only up side to this was we got to watch them wriggling around on the screen for about 30 minutes while she kept trying.
She said that one twins nuchal measurements were slightly above average and the other slightly below but both within normal measurements so we are happy with that.

I am just so happy they are doing so well, cant wait to see them again in 7 weeks and find out what sex they are. DH reckons a boy and a girl i will try and get the pics up later.

oooh TWINS!! Exciting! I'm glad everything is looking good. Sorry that lady was such a crankypants. Makes you wonder why on earth she would pick that for her career if she doesn't like people or wiggly babies?!?!

Thats great news. I had my set of twins 3 years ago and my little girl was always smaller than my little boy, but when my cousin had her twin boys they were almost exactly the same size, so I will have to agree with your hubby that you might be having a boy and girl! Congrats! Trust me you are going to have so much fun with them. Having twins is amazing! I would love to have twins again if it wasn't for the fact that I would have 4 children with only 2 pregnancies! lol. As for the annoying lady that moaned the whole time... Im going to be honest and tell you the truth.. you may want to learn early on to block it out. It only gets worse the bigger the babies get. Not necessarily with measuring them, but finding each of their heart beats. Every nurse I came across would alway cry about not being able to find baby B's heart beat right away because it just keep picking up baby A's. Lol or they would fuss because they would mix the two heart beats up constantly. You should know that going in! Nurses should just lean to keep their whining to them selfs sometimes! Any way good luck with the twins!

Yeah they are there first pic is twin one the slightly larger of the two who DH thinks is a boy, second pic is twin 2 would anyone like to guess on the sex i cant see anything!!!
