Just back from my scan... and the end of an incredibly anxious and stressful 2 weeks. I had managed to convince myself that the LO would not be ok... I suppose given my history that is understandable!

When i got in there, the Specialist started scanning, and i immediately worried, as LO was not moving. He smiled and put the speakers on so i could hear the heartbeat, and he said its just sleeping, which is good for him because he can get good measurements and have a good look.

All measured well (when i had my previous scans they had put me back 4 days, he has put me forward 1 from my original date, so i went in expecting to measure 12 weeks, and i actually measured 12 weeks 5 days!)

While the specialist was trying to do the NT LO woke, and started wriggling and moving which was great! NT measured fine in the end! Once he could get a snap shot when LO wasn't too active!

I am so relieved and happy :happydance::happydance::happydance:
They have taken full bloods to check and i should find out results when i see specialist on Monday. But so far all looks good! PHEW!

Congratulations you must be so relieved. Lovely picture too :)

We had ours last week and after a loss it was such a relief to see that all was well with our little one on that screen.

Wishing you a happy and healthy 6 months :)
