I was suppose to 13 weeks when I found out the baby died. No heartbeat. The baby measured to be 12 weeks almost 13 weeks old! I was told it's best to have this happen at home and my doctor gave me pain meds to deal with the pain and sent me home to come back next week.(Monday) I have five kids at home 16,14,6,4,20 months! It was the saddest ultrasound that I ever seen. I can't stand the pain of knowing I had the baby and now I don't. A week and half ago I had a baby and a 165 heartbeat! I went to the ER for a kidney infection and they hooked me up to IVs and started putting things in me I don't know what...the outcome a dead baby!! And their nice comment "you'll be fine, you have enough kids already!" I don't know when this is going to happen and I am scared as what I read I deliver a baby that is mini mini sized!! My husband didn't want anymore children so this was such a blessing to have this one, now there is no more! I am scared to death, I want it to be over, but I feel so guilty for wanting it to be over! I want my baby back but that's not possible. How has anyone else cooped with their miscarriages and knowing they aren't having another one? How bad is a miscarriage at 12 almost 13 weeks???

I am so very sorry hun. I lost my baby at 15 weeks, and another a year later at almost 14 weeks. I had a D&E with my 15 week baby. I later found out it was a boy, and I wish more than anything that I had decided against the surgery.
A year later we fell pregnant again and lost the baby at almost 14 weeks.

I had some spotting and went to the hospital and was told that my baby no longer had a heartbeat. They sent me home and told me to return the next day for a D&E. I was told if the pain got too bad or if I started bleeding heavily to return to the hospital. At 2.30am the contractions were becoming too intense and hubby rushed me back to the hospital. Once I got there my water broke and they rushed me to a bed and that's when the bleeding started. I was given morphine for pain. It was a only a few minutes later that I had my baby. I was bleeding really heavily and had two IV drips of fluid going. The Dr was happy with my haemoglobin levels, but had blood on hand ready for a transfusion if needed. She also needed to do a procedure to try to slow my bleeding. They also asked if we wanted to see the baby and we said we did. We later found out that it was a girl. She was tiny and perfect. Tiny little fingers and toes. A tiny little upturned nose. We had a funeral for her and had her tiny body cremated.
I'm sorry if my post has scared you. But, for me, giving birth to, and seeing my baby helped so much with healing. Sending you love and strength <3 <3 :hugs:

I'm so sorry, I've just had a similar experience. Ours was also a suprise baby, and because I have two little ones, I have been met with the same lack of sympathy.
Everything was fine one day, then baby's heart just stopped the next, just like your LO. Its so hard to wrap my head around why this happens. I opted for a ERPC this time as there were no beds to be induced until a week later and I did not want to wait. Natural mc was an option but again, I wasn't up for waiting for weeks on end for it to start.
Ps. Yes its a little mini baby, but still pretty small. Again so sorry :( have you tried the 2nd tri loss forum as well? X
