hi, everyone im just looking for a bit of dvice if anyone has got any.
this is my second pregnancy im 15 weeks iv had 3 big bleeds since 12 weeks the last been on friday at my 12 weeks scan they say a blood clot and said it was about 1.2 cm then on friday i was scaned and its now 6.9cm by 2.7cm so its growing quited fast. the main problem been its right at the opening of the uturas
iv been given a 50/50 chance of gettin to 20 weeks as im a high risk for miscarage.
i was basically told there is nothing they could do till 20 weeks and i just need to take it easy so over the weekend iv done nothin which is not easy with a 4yr old!!
has any one ever gone to term with a blood clot that has got bigger through pregnancy was there any complications or risks to you and your baby the doc told me on fri if at 20 weeks its got bigger and im still havin trouble with bleeding and pain i can still consider termination (WHICH IS NOT ON MY CARDS TO DO AT ALL) im just out of my mind with worried about it all

thanks for reading and if any one has got any advice i really wold apriciate it

love michelle xx:nope:

I'm sorry you're going through this hun. I don't know anything about these things so I have no suggestions or advice. Big :hugs: that everything is ok.

*hugs*
i hope everything works out ok :( how horrible for you :(
xx

There was someone on here the other day who had the same, it was a clot behind the baby i think, she was asking much the same questions, and they could not treat til 20 weeks either, I am sorry i am not even sure what the thread was called, but it may be nice for you to be in touch with someone who is going through the same, sorry i cant be any more help, only that i know she posted in the second tri you may find it if you have a look through older posts.

Wishing you lots of luck with your pregnancy, hoping things will be good and baby will be fine :hugs:

I had a subchronic haematoma at 7 weeks but it dispersed by 12 weeks. Best of luck I am thinking of you. XX

there is a group in the groups section for those with subchronic heamatomas, have a look in there. the ladies are great and know what you're going through,

thanks girls im goin to have a look for the other lady and check out the thread on here yr words are so kind and i will for sure keep you infromed thanks again xxx

I'm really sorry you're going through this. I had sch at 15 weeks, which by 20 weeks had dispersed. I would recommend checking out the SCH group in the lounge area. There's loads of information and good advice. It's really important you stay rested and drink lots and lots of water! xxx

hi... hope ur ok!!
i have been bleedin since 14weeks & lost the fluid... every doctor said i would miscarry by the saturday! ... im now 20weeks tomorow!... im not sure where my bleeding is coming from... but its by my uterus and measured 101x22x85mm... im not sure if its gone down since then or not :S nobody is sure where the bleeding is coming from...

i dont really no what to say except try to rest even thought its obviously hard with a 4year old! ... hope everything goes well for you! .... xxx

thanks for you advice im going to book in with my doctor in the morn and get some more advice as its just stressing me out and i guess thats no good either.
thanks again for all your comments xx

how do i get a baby devlopment scale some of you have got??

double click on mine & think the website comes up... im not sure but think thats how i got mine :D ... xx

Hey I just wanted to wish you luck im thinking of u and bubba. I had a hematoma at 7 weeks also and it was gone by 10 weeks. Never lose hope, all I'll say is try and take it as steady as u can, my doctor thinks mine was caused by over exhertion coz i did some heavy lifting the previous day. i took a week off work and only did light duties and it cleared up quickly. it must be so hard with a 4 year old, bt if u can think of ways of taking it steady i would much reccommend it :) good luck at the drs x

Im so sorry. I have no idea about anything like that but I'm going to pray for you and the baby. Nobody should have to worry like that. XOXO

that really is horrible :( i would try and lay down as often as possible! xx thinking of you xx

i am having exactly the same problem!! i am now 21 weeks pregnant and i had my first bleed at 15 weeks!! they told me there is nothing they can do until i get to 24 weeks!! i know exactly how you feel because the drs have told me that all i can do is have stricked bed rest and hopefully it will just go away!! it really doesn't help when you r left so unsure!! so i know what u r going through and i so hope that u and bubs are o.k!! if you need to chat, please don't hesitate!! i have to go for another scan in a week to see if the clot has gotten any smaller!! i will keep u posted if i get any useful information!! all the best

I had a heamatoma in my last pregnancy last year with twins and i bled from 10 weeks of pregnancy. At one point i thought the pregnancy was all over as i lost a clot the size of my fist and it looked like a lump of liver. They told me to stay on complete bed rest but at the time my son was 4 years old and sometimes that wasn't possible. I never did stop bleeding until the boys died at 16 weeks, but that was never due to the heamatoma, they died from twin to twin transfusion syndrome. I'm not sure how the rest of the pregnancy would have panned out had the twins not have died from the TTTS. Is there nobody you could get to look after your DS while you get some rest? You shouldn't be on your feet for too long ideally. xx
