16 week mw appt

I have my 16 wk appointnent today and was wondering what happens. Last time is a blur. Bp, urine, that about it?

I recorded the heartbeat at my 16 week appointment too cos OH wasn't there haha.

At mine they checked the baby's heartbeat too but I think this depends on your midwife and where you live as they don't at everyone's xx

I got the results from my booking bloods too when I had my 16 week appt

I always call the week after my bloods and urine has been done to check results are ok. Lol. Im too impatient!

If following the NICE guidelines then it'll just be blood results being filed, BP check, Urine check and ensuring you've got your 20 week scan booked. NICE don't recommend listening in to the baby's heartbeat till your 24/25 week appt (if you've not had a baby before) or 28 week appt if you have had a baby as you won't get a 24/25 week appt unless you're high risk.

They dont listen to the hb til 20wks onwards here. I have an appointment booked for 23 wks. I am high risk. Got next consultant appointment at 28 wks.
