17 weeks 2 days and not sure about movement ??

i am 17 weeks and 2 days with my little bubba! and every so often i feel what i think is little 'movements' inside me, but im not sure whether this is actually the baby, or like gas or tummy rumbles .. how can i tell?! I know people say that 'you just know' but i guess i just dont!! any thoughts ? X

Is it your first?? At 17 weeks it seems about right with your first, they will get stronger over the next few weeks then you will know but does sound about right like little pops in your tummy. xx

im 26 weeks and still only feel like a twinge in my belly like you get in ur eye lol
but now agen he gives a strong kick and youll c him and my belly will go in 2 a funny shape

I'm just over 19 weeks now and can't say i've felt anything obvious yet. midwife said it would probably be around 22 weeks. think it all just depends on the person/pregnancy.
stay chilled at least we'll have a few less weeks of rib inflicted injury!

I started feeling movements around the same time as you, and I too thought it might be gas. my OB/GYN assured me that it was the baby. It feels like a fluttering (I think it feels like gas moving through the intestines) but really soon it'll feel more consistent and obvious that it's the LO. What really confirmed it for me was when I was having an ultrasound and felt the "gas" and saw my baby moving around inside me! Just have fun with the sensation, and imagine all the movements your LO is making! Congratulations!
